PRAYER (#AtoZChallenge)

Just a reminder that my theme for the A to Z Challenge is FAITH, and here’s my Disclaimer: My faith is in Christ Jesus/Holy Bible. I write with no intent to judge other faiths/belief systems.

Prayers** from deep within sincere seeking hearts

Rather than rote repetitions, empty of real relationship

Availeth much for the faithful and fervent who pray and

Yield themselves to Lord God they know “a little”, or intimately

Every small and greater need, also gratitudes, bring the Lord’s certain

Response… And surely He’ll return, as we pray for His second Parousia*

The Prayer of Faith
15And the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick. The Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. 16Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man has great power to prevail. 17Elijah was a man just like us. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years.…James 5:15-17

So the LORD heard Hezekiah and healed the people.

  1. Soaking this all up and how our prayers bring His certain response. Oh thank you! Then a new to me word! And then all the scripture! This is so much more than a poem! Bless you!
